Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass substrate dividing device capable of simply and reliably dividing a glass substrate into a plurality of substrates from a glass roll.SOLUTION: A glass substrate dividing device comprises: an apparatus 11 for planarly unwinding a glass sheet 7 and a resin sheet 8 from a glass roll 3, obtained by winding a band-like glass sheet 7 and resin sheet 8 laminated to each other, in the state that the glass sheet 7 overlaps on the upper side of the resin sheet 8, to feed the unwound glass sheet 7 and resin sheet 8 to a scribe line forming device 31 after hanging down once; the scribe line forming device 31 for forming a scribe line S extended in the width direction on the glass sheet 7 planarly unwound on the resin sheet 8; and a division unit 33 for dividing the scribe line S to form a glass substrate 9 on the resin sheet 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
