Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gold sintered body having mechanical properties required as a member for decoration, furthermore causing no metallic allergy to man and combining decorativeness suitable as a member for decoration, corrosion resistance and scratch resistance.
SOLUTION: This sintered body consists of hard phases composed of the oxynitrides of Ti, tempered phases composed of ZrO2 and bonding phases composed of metals essentially consisting of Mo, in which the ratio of the tempered phases is regulated to 11 to 25 wt.%, the amt. of the bonding phases of metals is regulated to 8 to 22 wt.%, and the balance consists of the hard phases with inevitable impurities, and, among ZrO2 crystals in the tempered phases, the ratio of monoclinic crystals is regulated to 3 to 55%.
