Abstract:
PURPOSE: To efficiently capture the balls rolling on the ground in a golf training range, etc., to ditches, etc., by providing the subject machine with a ball collecting car steered laterally around the front part of a self-traveling car and installing a ball collecting roll rotated by a rotating machine to this collecting car.
CONSTITUTION: The self-traveling car 1 has a self-traveling ability to travel by an engine or motor and is provided with a driver's seat 2 and a steering handle. The ball collecting car 10 of about 2 meter transverse width is supported at a projecting piece 4 projecting from the center in the front part of this self- traveling car 1 and is horizontally oscillated laterally in about 35° angle range by a control apparatus, such as hydraulic cylinder 5. An axle 21 of the ball collecting roll of the ball collecting car 10 is kept rotated by a hydraulic motor 20 regardless of the speed of the self-traveling car 1. The many golf balls rolling on the ground are kicked by a rubber plate 25 of the collecting roll and are gathered by lateral horizontal oscillation, by which the balls are kicked clown into the ball collecting ditches and are properly gathered to a collecting point.
