Abstract:
SOLUTION: To provide a golf ball which includes a core and a cover of at least one layer, for coating the core, and in which at least one layer of the cover is formed from a resin composition containing (I)-(III) components of (I) polyurethane or polyurea, (II) thermoplastic polyester elastomer and (III) aromatic vinyl-based elastomer, the (II) component has a Shore D hardness of 45 or less, an impact resilience rate of 74% or less and a melting viscosity of 1.5×104 (dPa s) or less at 200°C/a shear rate of 243 (1/sec), and the blending amount is 20 pts.mass or less based on 100 pts.mass of the (I) component, and the (III) component has a Shore D hardness of 30 or less, an impact resilience rate of 30% or less, and the blending amount is 20 pts.mass or less based on 100 pts.mass of the (I) component.EFFECT: The golf ball is excellent in controllability at the time of approach shot, and can excellently retain abrasion resistance and moldability.SELECTED DRAWING: None
