Abstract:
To provide a golf club head capable of achieving both high repulsive force and impact resistance strength by providing a reinforcing rib on a striking plate.SOLUTION: A golf club head 1 is provided including a striking plate 3 that is a plate-like body extending in a predetermined longitudinal direction and a transverse direction and that has a striking face 31 facing the front side in the front-rear direction X and a back surface 33 facing the rear side in the front-rear direction X. The striking face 31 includes a central area 311 located at the center and a peripheral area 312 surrounding the central area 311. On the back surface 33, at least one reinforcing rib 32 is provided that has two (2) end portions 321 and 322 connected to portions corresponding to the peripheral area 312 of the back surface 33, respectively and a continuous portion 323 that connects the two (2) end portions 321 and 322 and is disposed so as to have a space from a portion corresponding to the central area 311 of the back surface 33.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
