To provide a golf club which makes it easy to sense an erroneous shot when a position to hit a ball is largely shifted from the center position of a ball hitting surface and is capable of improving and stabilizing carry in a wide range near the center of the ball hitting surface.
The golf club includes a metallic club head in a hollow structure in which the height of a face part is 48 mm or more. The face part, with a CT value at the center position C of the face part as a reference, has a high repulsion area where the CT value in the range of a radius 10 mm from the center position C is 80% or more of the CT value at the center position, and has a low repulsion area where the CT value is lowered to the value equal to or less than 60% of the center position C at a position 16 mm to 20 mm away from the center position C to the sole side or the crown side in the vertical direction within the range of at least 5 mm to the toe side or the heel side from the position.
