Title:
GOLF TEE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH10230032
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a golf tee capable of preventing largely missing a shot in spite of some duffing with a club head at the time of a tee shot on an ordinary tea ground.

The axial line A2 of the head part 2 of the golf tee 1 and the axial line A3 of its stem part 3 are intersected with an acute angle θ in such a manner that the part 3a exposed from the ground surface G of the stem part 3 overhangs from the rear surface in the hitting forward direction of a ball 4 placed on a spherical seat 2a in a plan view when the stem part 3 is plunged diagonally into the ground surface G from the side opposite to the hitting forward direction F of the ball 4. The penetration of the club head duffed at this part (a) into the ground surface is thus prevented. The L from the intersection point P to the stem part 3 is specified to 90 to 130mm.
