Abstract:
To realize an article storage facility which can increase processing efficiency as the whole article conveyance facility.SOLUTION: An article storage facility comprises: a storage shelf; a warehousing section; an internal conveyance device for conveying an article between the warehousing section and the storage shelf; and a control system. The control system sets the number obtained by adding the variably set adjustment number (A) to the holding upper limit number (Nmax), which is the maximum number of articles capable of being held in the warehousing section, as the operational buffer number (Nmax+A), and conveys the articles to the warehousing section within a range of the operational buffer number (Nmax+A). The control system sets the adjustment number (A) to be a smaller value as the load on the internal conveyance device increases.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
