Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grain sorting and weighing machine sorting grains into whole grain and screenings and weighing the whole grain to bag the same while continuously performing even the weighing and bagging of the screenings.
SOLUTION: The grains supplied from a hopper by the relative rotation of a sorting screen member and grain lifting spiral body concentrically arranged in the shell body 3 of a vertical sorter B are lifted to be sorted into whole grain and screenings, and the whole grain is stored in a storage tank 4 and a large amt. of screenings is rapidly discharged through a large discharge port chute 23. The hopper 31 of a grain lifter C is positioned just under the discharge port chute 23 and the screenings discharged from the discharge port chute 23 are lifted by a lift means to be stored in a storage tank 36 and foreign matter is separated from the sorted regular grain by a dust removing device 25 to enhance the quality of whole grain and this regular grain is weighed and bagged by a whole grain weighing machine D and the screenings stored in the storage tank 36 are weighed and bagged by a screenings-weighing machine E.
