To provide a granulating device which is compact and easy to clean, and cools and solidifies a high-viscosity material under a molten state so as to manufacture grains of the material.

This granulating device 1 is provided with a main drum 4 in which many recesses 5 equipped with shapes corresponding to the grains are formed in an outer peripheral part, a steel belt 8 which is wound between a drive pulley 6 and a press pulley 7 and abuts on a part of the outer peripheral part of the main drum 4, and an extruder 2 which supplies the recesses 5 with a molten resin material near an end, on the side of a material inlet, of a part in which the steel belt 8 abuts on the main drum 4. In addition, the granulating device 1 is provided with a cooling spray 10, which sprays the backside of the steel belt 8 with cooling water, so as to cool and solidify the molten resin material in the recesses 5 and form the grains of the resin material, and a grain sucking device 11 which takes out the grains in the recesses 5 by vacuum suction near an end, on the side of a material outlet, of the part in which the steel belt 8 abuts on the main drum 4.
