Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a self-travelling type grass mower capable of mowing even grass growing in an inclined face or land not levelled and tall grass.SOLUTION: The grass mower comprises: a body part 3 including a grass mowing blade; and plural legs 2 supporting the body part 3. The leg 2 includes a leg part 10 and a landing part 11. A series of walk actions are repeated, the series of walk actions constituted by: a travel action moving the leg part 10 with a horizontal direction component and horizontally moving the landing part 11 in a state of landing the landing part 11; a leg lift action lifting the leg part 10 and separating the landing part 11 from the ground surface; a return action moving the leg part 10 in a reverse direction; and a land action lowering the leg part 10 and landing the landing part 11. Accordingly, the body part 3 is horizontally moved in a state of being kept in air.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
