Abstract:
To provide a grinding wheel guard device enabling a user to simply replace a grinding wheel even in a grinder provided with a grinding wheel supported at two ends.
The grinding wheel guard device 23 is composed of a fixed cover part 24, which is fixed to a grinding wheel head, and a movable cover part 25 which is rotatably mounted to the fixed cover part 24 and covers the part above the grinding wheel G. Consequently, the movable cover part 25 can be opened in the direction above the grinding wheel G without interference with a grinding wheel shaft 20 penetrating the end face of the grinding wheel G. The grinding wheel G can be easily replaced.
