Title:
GRIPPER MECHANISM DRIVING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3515258
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the necessity of lubrication so as to prevent the play of an alignment beam by connecting a gripper element to the driven pulley of a transmission mechanism by a tooth belt, and driving a driving pulley by a double cam mechanism.
SOLUTION: A plurality of gripper elements 2 are fixed to a driven pulley 3. A tooth belt 4 has the driven pulley 3 wound to be connected to a driving pulley 5. A double cam mechanism is provided in the shaft 14 of the driving pulley 5. This double cam mechanism includes two levers 6 and 6', and cam rollers 7 and 7' are respectively provided in the end parts thereof, and operated by internal and external cams 8 and 9. Thus, without needing to execute any lubrication for the tooth belt 4, the danger of friction is eliminated for the same, and therefore a gripper mechanism driving device having no transmission mechanism play is provided.
