To provide a gripper capable of gripping a tab without damaging or fouling a bar-code and an IC chip attached to the tab of a sheet pallet.

A push-pull attachment 14 is attached elevatably and removably to a mast 12 of a forklift truck 11. The gripper 2 for gripping the tab of the pallet is provided in a lower part of a face plate 1 of the attachment 14. The gripper 2 is provided to grip the sheet pallet applied with the bar-code on an upper face in the central part of the tab, and a cut-out part 6a is formed in the central part of a rubber pad 4 of the gripper 2 to prevent contact with the bar-code of the pallet. When the tab of the pallet is gripped by the gripper 2, the bar-code on the tab is read by a bar-code reader 8 attached to the lower part of the face plate 1.
