Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a dimension in a separated grit transport direction, of a grit separation apparatus in which a swirling flow of treatment object water is formed in a separation tank.SOLUTION: The grit separation apparatus is provided that comprises: a grit separation tank which has a discharge part formed in a bottom and discharges grit from the discharge part; a first transport part for transporting the grit discharged from the discharge part; and a second transport part connected to the first transport part and transporting the grit transported with the first transport part to a position above a water level of the grit separation tank. The grit separation apparatus is characterized in that an angle of the second transport part to a horizontal plane is larger than an angle of the first transport part to a horizontal plane. Thus, the transport part bent toward the upper direction is constituted, so that dimension in the separated grit transport direction, of the grit separation apparatus can be shortened.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
