Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grommet whose lock can be carried out easily with lessened insertion force at the time of installation work to an aperture part of a vehicle panel, which can be hardly put off after locked, and of which the manufacturing cost can be lowered by simplifying the processing method and the processing time at the time of manufacturing the dies.
SOLUTION: This grommet 1 comprises a locking part 2 to be locked with a prescribed aperture part, a W/H holding part 3 to closely hold a wire harness, a tilting part 4 formed slangtingly between the part 2 and the W/H holding part 3, and a plurality of strip-like linear projected parts 5 formed in the upper part of the grommet and on the slanting part 4 surface and extended in the direction toward the part 2 from the W/H holding part 3 side. In this case, the projection height of the extended linear projected parts 5 is so made as to become higher continuously in the part 2 direction and the linear projected parts 5 are unitedly formed with the main body of the grommet 1 and made of a material used for constituting the main body of the grommet 1, for example, integrally molded rubber.
