Abstract:
To provide a ground covering material that can be applied to various places as a paving material or the like, and which can satisfy the following requirements of: a weed-proofing effect, a low outflow risk of high alkaline water, a low cost, easy application, and easy availability in a wide area.SOLUTION: A steel slag obtained by crushing and classifying dehydrated sludge a generated in a process for producing sand or/and gravel is a steel slag b having a grain size passing through a sieve having an opening of 53 mm in classification, and having a water immersion expansion ratio of 1.0% or less by a water immersion expansion test specified in Appendix B of JIS A5015, which is blended at a ratio of 0.7 to 1.5 by a mass ratio and contains a hydraulic binder c in the amount of 3 to 10 mass%.SELECTED DRAWING: None
