Title:
Group battery
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6189147
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of short circuit between battery cells even when dew condensation is generated.SOLUTION: Each battery cell 12 has a hydrophilic portion 31 which is formed of a hydrophilic material having wettability higher than that of a surface 21A of an outer container 21, on at least part of the surface 21A. The battery cell 12 has hydrophilic portions 31 on almost an entire region of a side surface 27 of the outer container 21, facing a side surface 27 of an outer container 21 of an adjacent battery cell 12, and on almost an entire region of a side surface 27 of the outer container 21, facing an inner surface 11A of a housing 11. Each hydrophilic portion 31 is formed of a hydrophilic organic material or a hydrophilic inorganic material which has desired electrical insulation and heat resistance. The hydrophilic organic material is a fluorine-based resin material, for example. The hydrophilic inorganic material is aluminium nitride, for example. Each hydrophilic portion 31 is arranged on the surface 21A of the outer container 21 of the battery cell 12 by at least any one of application, adhesion, and installation.
