To provide a simple apparatus which is easy to see even in the daytime and by which the advance direction of a surveying vehicle can be judged intuitively and in a short time in a guidance apparatus by which the surveying vehicle carrying a global-positioning-system(GPS) positioning apparatus is guided along a surveying line.

A data processor 6 is installed such that a deviation amount between a present antenna reference position (three-dimensional coordinates) which is positioned by a GPS receiver 3 and a present surveying line is computed and that the advance direction of a surveying vehicle is set on the basis of the deviation amount. A lamp display device 8 is installed in such a way that the deviation amount between the present antenna reference position and the surveying line which is computed by the data processor 6 and the advance direction, of the surveying line 2, which is set by the data processor 6 are displayed by an LED(a light-emitting diode).
