To prevent the electromagnetic waves of a guide wire from affecting control information coming from a traffic sign, relating to a guide device for a guided vehicle (e.g., golf cart).
The guide device for a golf cart guides a golf cart body 1 as a guided vehicle along a predetermined path 50 of travel. The guide wire 49 for guiding the golf cart body 1 and a noncontact IC tag 51 serving as a traffic sign sending the control information are provided on the path 50 of travel. A shield means 65 serving as a shield means is provided between the noncontact IC tag 51 and the guide wire 49. In the guide device, the shield means can prevent electromagnetic waves coming from the guide wire from affecting the control information coming from the traffic sign. Accurate control information for the golf cart can be detected to ensure that the travel of the cart is controlled based on the control information coming from the traffic sign.
