Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a guide member capable of sufficiently guiding a fastening element and preventing the fastening element from being driven.
CONSTITUTION: A metallic guide member 1 for a fastening element capable of being driven in a hard receiving material by an explosive power operated driving device is provided with a through hole 2, and at least three plastically deformable projecting guide ranges 3 are arranged in the through hole 2 so as to project inward. Therefore, the fastening element is sufficiently guided, and the reliable deformation of the guide ranges 3 is made possible.
