PURPOSE: To make it possible to fix a guide post in the state of adjusting its height even if a set screw is not used.

CONSTITUTION: A guide post body 5 is mounted on a skate 3. A spring member 1 is shrunk in a diametral direction to press a guide post shaft 4 and the guide post body is fixed every time a screw 2 for height adjustment is gradually tightened when height adjustment is executed by this screw 2 for height adjustment. The guide post 5 is mounted on the skate 3 and the height adjustment of the guide post is executed. The angle B of a bushing 7a comes into contact with the spring member 1a when the screw 2 for height adjustment is tightened. The spring member 1a is gradually shrunk in the diametral direction and the guide post shaft 4 which is integral with the guide post body 5 is pressed and the guide post is fixed when the screw 2 for height adjustment is further tightened.
