Abstract:
To provide a guideline of calibration method in order to reduce a burden on a user in operation of the calibration without using exclusive large- scale facilities.
A camera to be calibrated is fixed to a tripod, and three flat surfaces are photographed on a guide sheet. A setting position of an object surface for photographing the three flat surfaces and each setting position when photographing using the tripod are pointed on the guide sheet. The setting position pointed on the guide sheet meets constraint requirements recommended by this inventor. The three flat surfaces are photographed along the guide sheet, and thereby the user can easily carry out the calibration with sufficient accuracy.
