Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure reliable floating guide of sheet paper which is printed on both side faces during printing operation for both side faces, and achieve shortest adjusting time and complete tension of sheet paper during printing operation for a front face.
SOLUTION: Nozzles 12, 14, 16 are formed, which are disposed at areas 6, 8, 10 respectively in a guide surface 4 disposed at the lower part of sheet paper 2, and blowing air is supplied through blowers 24, 26, 28; 200 and attached throttle valves 30, 32, 34; 210, 212 or a shutoff valve 214 through blowing box 18, 20, 22 positioned at the lower part of the guide surface 4. The blowing direction of the nozzles 14, 16 is oriented to the side edge part of the sheet paper 2, and the blowing direction of the nozzle 12 is almost a sheet paper traveling direction A. Compressed air is fed to the nozzles in all areas in the case of printing operation for both side faces. However, in the case of printing for the front surface, blowing air supply is shut off for the central area 6 and the lower side of the sheet paper is sucked on the guide surface in the central area by an ejector effect which is caused by side air flow of the nozzles 14, 16.
