Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gyrocompass survey method capable of improving an accuracy of observation.SOLUTION: In a gyrocompass installation point 1, a gyro-observation angle (αo) that observes gyro-target points 2 with a north direction as a reference is defined as an azimuth angle(α)between a gyrocompass installation point 1 and a gyro target point 2 by correcting the gyro-observation angle (αo) by a correction value(α) α=ηtanφbased on an east-west component (η) of the vertical line deviation in the gyrocompass installation point 1 provided that η: (λ- λ)cosλλ: astronomical longitude λ: geodetic system λ: and geodetic system longitude.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
