To provide a hair dryer that prevents hair from getting twisted with an axial fan when the hair invades from a suction port into a case of a hair dryer.

A hair dryer includes: a case 2 that has a cylindrical shape and has a suction port 3 at one end and an outlet 1 at the other end; an axial fan 8 that sends air suctioned from the suction port 3 provided in the case 2 toward the outlet 1; a heater that heats the air sent by the axial fan 8; and a reticulation filter 31 provided at the suction port, wherein the axial fan 8 includes a rotary shaft part and a wing that extends to a radial direction outside of the rotary shaft part from an outer surface of the rotary shaft part, and a distance of a rotary shaft direction of the rotary shaft part from a blowing direction upstream side end of the wing to a blowing direction downstream side end of the filter 31 is larger than a width of a rotary shaft direction of the wing.
