To obtain a hair restorer/hair tonic having excellent hair growth- promotive effect.

This hair restorer/hair tonic contains (A) 0.01-20 (pref. 0.1-10)wt.% of at least one kind selected from among fatty acids, alcohols and derivatives therefrom, having odd-numbered carbon chains, respectively (e.g. pentadecanoic monoglyceride) and (B) 0.00001-10 (pref. 0.0001-5)wt.% of forskolin (derivative) or Coleus forskohlii root extract, in the weight ratio B/A of pref. (1:500000) to (50:1). This hair restorer/hair tonic can be used as an agent for external or internal use in the form of homogeneous solution, lotion or gel by conventional means, and also used in the form of aerosol composition.
