Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability, in which a pedestal member is fixed onto a counter and a wall surface.
SOLUTION: A bolt 6 is passed through the through-hole of a pedestal member 5 and the lower end of the bolt 6 is screwed beforehand into the female tapped hole 11 of a horseshoe-shaped member 7 for fixing the pedestal member 5 onto a counter. The left piece 7a and right piece 7b of the horseshoe-shaped member 7 are picked by a fingertip under the state and narrowed, and the horseshoe-shaped member 7 is inserted into a faucet mounting hole. When the bolt 6 is pushed downwards, the horseshoe-shaped member 7 is passed through the faucet mounting hole as an approximately horizontal posture is left as it is kept, returned to an original state by the energizing force of a leaf spring, and superposed at the lower edge of the faucet mounting hole. The edge section of the faucet mounting hole is held strongly from upper and lower sections by the pedestal member 5 and the horseshoe-shaped member 7 by sufficiently clamping the bolt 6, and the pedestal member 5 is fastened firmly onto the counter. The faucet is installed to the pedestal member 5.
