Abstract:

PURPOSE: To construct a structue which has a side wall being endurable to an earth pressure applied from the side, by a method wherein one side wall of a half-basement is formed such that the inclination to the outside of a point on the side wall increases, the further upwards on the side wall this is situated, the inclining part is bent to form stairs, and a concavity is formed in a part of the floor surface of the half-basement.

CONSTITUTION: A half-basement 2 is formed in a space under a floor and under a ground surface under a floor in a state to be connected to an opening 1 formed in a floor 7. A part or the whole part of one side wall 3 of the half-basement 2 is formed such that the inclination to the outside of a point on the side wall increases, the further upwards on the side wall this point is situated. The inclination part is bent to form stairs for walking up and down. Additionally, a part of the floor surface of the half-basement 2 is designated to cave in to form a concavity 5.
