Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide halide glass having small lattice vibration energy, excellent in resistance to devitrification and readily producible.
CONSTITUTION: This halide glass contains 15-40mol% of In and 15-40mol% of Ga, with the proviso that In+Ga=35-65mold, 5-40mol% of Cd and 10-30mol% of Pb as cations constituting the glass and contains F or F and ≤10mol% of Cl as anions.
