To provide a halogen-based toxic substance removal/purification/detoxication apparatus which can very reasonably remove/purify/detoxify halogen-based toxic substances, such as fire retardants and chlorine-based halogenated hydrocarbon, contained in wastewater to be treated.
The halogen-based toxic substance removal/purification/detoxication apparatus comprises a filtration adsorption purification means A having a coagulation treatment part 10 for coagulating/coarsening the halogen-based toxic substances, a filtration treatment part 20 for filtering the wastewater to be treated, and an adsorption treatment part 30 with an adsorbent 32 for adsorbing the halogen-based toxic substances, and an extraction regeneration means B having a desorption/elution treatment part 40 for desorbing/eluting the halogen-based toxic substances with an extraction solvent, a recovery treatment part 50 for evaporating/desorbing the extraction solvent to recover it, and a refining treatment part 60 with a distillation column 62 for refining the collected solvent through the desorption/elution treatment part 40 and the recovery treatment part 50 for regeneration of the solvent. The filtration adsorption purification means A and the extraction regeneration means B perform the treatments at a treatment temperature lower than the generation temperature of dioxin.
