Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate mounting of a coping and a hand-rail body to a surface at field work with one action such as mounting made by nuts only and to make it possible to reduce construction time.
CONSTITUTION: A male secrew 27 of a coupling pipe 26 is screwed to a female screw 29 of a pedestal 28 to connect them as a unit, it is inserted in an insertion hole 44 of the top board 42 of a coping 41, and a strut section 53 of a hand-rail body 51 is inserted in the coupling pipe 26. A temporary check not 60 is screwed to the male screw 27 of the coupling pipe 26 projected from a lower hand-rail section 52b through a washer 59, and the coping 41, strut section 53 and lower hand-rail section 52b are held and fixed together as a unit. The foundation 21 having a bearing section 24 forming a male screw 23 on the circumference is provided to an anchor 13 mounted to a skeleton 11. The coupling pipe 26 held and fixed as a unit is inserted in the bearing section 24 from the pedestal 28. A nut 63 is screwed to the bearing section 24 projected from the lower hand-rail section 52b through a washer 62, and the coupling pipe 26 and lower hand-rail section 52b are clamped.
