Abstract:
To provide a handover program capable of relieving delay and omission of communication data due to handover of a mobile terminal by overcoming the problem which Mobile IP technology has.
A home agent 101 previously informs each of a plurality of foreign agents 104 and 106 existing near a visiting destination network 108 of the mobile terminal 102 of authentication information of the mobile terminal 102 and transfers a packet to the mobile terminal 102. Then, transfer of the packet to the mobile terminal 102 is started immediately after the foreign agent 104 of the handover destination network performs authentication of the mobile terminal 102 in the case of the handover of the mobile terminal 102.
