Abstract:
To provide a handrail which is easy to be assembled and robust.SOLUTION: A handrail 1 is divided into a plurality of handrail members 2, 2; an insertion hole 221 is provided at one end of the handrail member 2, and an insertion part 232 to be inserted into the insertion hole 221 is provided at the other end; and a tapered male screw part 24 is formed on an outer peripheral surface of the insertion hole 221. A slit 241 is formed in the tapered male screw part 24 and is constituted so that the insertion hole 221 is shrunk inwardly; and the insertion part 232 is tightened from the outside by a tapered female screw part 321 of a fastening nut 32 to be screwed to the outside. Thus, a connection part fastened and fixed by the fastening nut 32 is concealed by a main body 31 of a joint member 3, and is assembled so that the handrail 1 is constituted by one member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
