To provide a hanger for a bag which is easily and surely fixable to a bag even if a handle of the bag uses a strap or a belt.
This hanger A for the bag which is attached to the outside of the bag B1 and retaining a garment W has a bag retaining part 1 externally fitted to the bag by fitting an enclosed inside space portion 1s to a handle H2 of the bag, a garment retaining part 2 integrally formed with the bag retaining part 1 and hanging the garment W, and formed with slits 4 selectively holding the handle strap or belt H2 with the bag retaining portion 1 between the bag retaining portion 2 and the garment holding portion 1.
