Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition useful as a coating material or the like capable of forming a fluorine-containing gelatinous hardened product excellent in chemical resistance and solvent resistance and having low moisture permeability by together using plural number of linear perfluoro compounds whose numbers of contained alkenyl groups are different from each other.
SOLUTION: This hardening composition is composed of (A) a linear perfluoro compound containing two or more alkenyl groups (Z1) in the molecule and having a perfluoro structure (Z2) in the main chain {e.g. a compound of formula I [X is CH2, CH2O, CH2OCH2 or the like; Rf1 is a perfluoro(oxy)alkylene; (a)=0, 1]}, (B) a linear perfluoro compound containing one Z1 in the molecule and having Z2 in the main chain {e.g. a compound of formula II [Rf2 is a perfluoro(oxy)alkyl]}, (C) an organosilicon compound having two or more hydroxyl groups in the molecule and (D) a platinum group metal catalyst. When hardened, this composition gives a gelatinous hardened product having a rate of penetration (ASTM D-1403) of 1-200.
