Abstract:
To provide a repelling device for repelling and driving off harmful animals such as rats, weasels, raccoons, bats, boars, deer, and bugs in a sure manner.SOLUTION: A harmful animal repelling device includes: a sensor 22 for detecting the presence of harmful animals; a transparent or translucent optical fiber cable 13; a light source 11 for generating light of a predetermined wavelength continuously or intermittently; and a controller 10 for repelling or attracting harmful animals by causing the optical fiber cable to continuously or intermittently emit light of a color that repels harmful animals or a color that attracts harmful animals by emitting light from the light source when the presence of harmful animals is detected by the sensor, and propagating it in a longitudinal direction in the optical fiber cable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
