To provide a harmful gas exposure preventing device for a dissection practice room which permits the obtainment of a sufficient exposure preventing effect on a harmful gas without damaging working efficiency and permits the use of an existing dissecting table without requiring works such as the installation of an exhaust duct.
For the harmful gas exposure preventing device for the dissection practice room, a push hood having a uniform air stream diffusing mechanism at one of both ends in the longitudinal direction of each of a plurality of dissecting tables in a dissection practice room and a pull hood having a uniform air stream suction mechanism at the other are arranged facing each other so that at least some of an air stream from the push hood flows in contact with specimens on the dissecting tables and then is sucked into the pull hood. Also, the inside of the pull hood is configured such that a filter having the ability to adsorb the harmful gas is incorporated below the air stream suction mechanism and a purified air stream is exhausted into the room from a position below the dissecting table.
