To provide a laser device for cosmetics which is highly safe and has a wide irradiation area at a low cost.
A surface light-emitting laser element which keeps a lower section multi-layer film reflective mirror, an active layer, and an upper section multi-layer film reflective mirror stacked in this order on a semi-conductive board is arranged into an array form, and used to irradiate a laser beam. Thus, this laser device for cosmetics which can closely accumulate respective surface light-emitting laser elements, and can irradiate them with the laser beam of which the optical intensity distribution is uniform over a wide area is provided. Since the laser beam diameter of each surface light-emitting laser element is large, the optical position adjustment is easy, and the optical system can be simplified as well.
