Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching control method to HDR photographing in which photographing and combining are performed in a plurality of exposures to expand a dynamic range.SOLUTION: An imaging device includes: imaging means for converting an optical image into an electric signal; exposure control means for controlling exposure of the imaging means; photographing and combining means for photographing a plurality of images in different exposures and combining the images; histogram acquisition means for acquiring a histogram of the image output from the imaging means; and combining determination means for determining switching between a normal photographing and photographing for combining from the histogram. The combining determination means has a threshold of a proper luminance range, and provides hysteresis to a threshold of a switching range.
