Abstract:
To provide a HUD device capable of facilitating distance perception of a virtual image by a driver by effectively generating a motion parallax in an eye box.SOLUTION: The HUD device, capable of changing a virtual display distance, includes: a viewpoint position detection section 320 for detecting a viewpoint position of a driver; an image generating section 33; and a virtual image display control section 306 which changes a position of a virtual image to emphasize a change in an appearance of a virtual image by a motion parallax by controlling the image generating section 33 when a viewpoint position of a driver moves, or changes a position of a virtual image to emphasize a change in an appearance of a virtual image by a motion parallax and changes a three-dimensional shape of an object displayed as a virtual image to meet the change in the virtual image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
