Title:
HEAT CONTROLLED HUMIDIFIER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3284025
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain always good humidified atmosphere, by providing a thermal- actuating valve to control the humid air flow fed to a baby room in response to temperature variations of a heater.
CONSTITUTION: This incubator for a baby 10 having thermal-control-type damping equipment 12 is equipped with a heater 28 and a fan 30 in the base 26, and said heater 28 heats the circulating air flowing from a hood 14 in the back of the fan 30 to re-introduce the air into the forward hood 14. The thermal-control-type damping equipment 12 is arranged under the baby incubator 10 and heats a certain amount of water 36 supplied into a reservoir 34 by a heater means 38. As the heater means 38, an electric heater 40 is used which is a strip heater fixed on the top of a heat exchanger 42 extending from the surface of water 36 to the bottom. In an outlet opening 46, a valve 48 is arranged which is integrated with bimetallic spiral strip 58 constituting a thermal actuator installed in the bore of the heat exchanger 48, and the air flow is controlled.
