Abstract:
To provide a heat exchange system that can efficiently increase drainage temperature at system startup while restraining an increase in cost, and a method for operating the same.SOLUTION: A heat exchange system according to an embodiment comprises a feedwater line 1 for taking heat source water and supplying warm water to a culture water tank W, a drainage line 2 for discharging drainage to the outside from the culture water tank W, a heat pump 3 arranged so as to be capable of exchanging heat between the feedwater line 1 and the drainage line 2, a bypass line 4 for supplying the heat source water passed through the heat pump 3 to the drainage line 2 without supplying it to the culture water tank W, a switching valve 5 for switching a flow passage for the heat source water to the feedwater line 1 or the bypass line 4, and a control device 6 for operating the heat pump 3 and the switching valve 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
