Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side flow type heat exchanger that can suppress water splashing due to condensate water produced on fins and that is a parallel flow type.SOLUTION: A heat exchanger includes: two header pipes which are provided in parallel; a plurality of flat pipes which are provided between the two header pipes in parallel with each other so as to be perpendicular to the two header pipes; fins which are provided between the plurality of flat pipes respectively; and a drain pan which is provided extending at right angles to the two header pipes, the drain pan having a first wall surface, overlapping with the region closest to the drain pan among regions of the plurality of fins sectioned by the flat pipes, on one ventilation surface of the heat exchanger.
