Abstract:
To provide a heat exchanger for cooling vehicle exhaust gas.
A heat exchanger (1) includes a blower duct formed out of heat exchange tubes (7) arranged in parallel to one another; and a housing through which exhaust gas to be cooled can flow, around which a cooling liquid can flow, and which includes a housing wall (4) and tube bottoms (9, 15). The housing wall (4) and the tube bottoms (9, 15) form a blast chamber for the cooling liquid, and the heat exchange tubes (7) are arranged to form a tube bundle, form a linear portion and deflection part regions (12, 13)of the tube bundle, and are bent at an angle of at least 90° in at least the two deflection part regions (12, 13).
