Title:
HEAT-EXCHANGER EQUIPPED WITH BUILT-IN OIL COOLER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3702619
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an oil inlet and an outlet uniform regardless of the capacity of an oil cooler, and also, increase/decrease the capability without changing a lower tank total length.
SOLUTION: A cooling water which is introduced from an upper tank 11 and cooled, is returned to an engine from a lower tank 13. In the lower tank 13, an oil cooler 20 is arranged, and heat-exchanges an oil which is introduced from an oil inlet 22A with the cooling water, and discharges the oil from an oil outlet 23A and returns the oil to a transmission. Both of the oil inlet 22A and the oil outlet 23A are arranged on one end side of the lower tank 13, and heat-exchanging passages 20A, 20B are folded back at the other end of the lower tank 13 so that the oil which flows in from the oil inlet 22A may be folded back at the other end of the lower tank 13 and introduced to the oil outlet 23A.
