Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger having excellent pressure resistance and material selectiveness and high performance.
SOLUTION: This heat exchanger 10 is formed of a plurality of primary side tubes 1 respectively having a flat part 4 in the periphery thereof and secondary side tubes 2 respectively having a flat part 5 in the periphery thereof, and formed by spirally winding these tubes, while adhering them to each other at each of the flat parts 4 and 5. Pressure resistance can be secured by using a plurality of the primary side tubes 1, which are thinner than the secondary side tube 2 and higher in mechanical strength than that of the secondary side tubes. Since the primary side tubes 1 do not need the porous structure, the primary side tubes 1 can be formed from various material such as copper, iron and stainless steel, besides aluminum, to improve flexibility in selection of the materials for a heat exchanger. Furthermore, since the primary side tubes 1 and the secondary side tubes 2 are spirally wound, while adhering the flat parts 4 and 5 formed in each of the peripheries to each other, a heat conductive surface is formed in both of an upper and a lower surfaces over the whole of the tubes in the longitudinal direction thereof to secure a sufficiently wide heat conductive area.
