Abstract:
To provide a heat exchanger to be used for heat recovery from exhaust gas in a waste incinerator, having improved durability.
In the heat exchanger for heat exchange between high temperature exhaust gas and low temperature fluid, a material constituting a heat transfer surface is a steel material containing C :0.01-0.05 wt%, Si :2.0 wt% or more, Mn :0.5-1.5 wt% or more, and Cr :15.0 wt% or more. A spiral fin 3 can be formed on the outer surface of a pipe 2 for distributing the high temperature exhaust gas, or a ring-like swollen header portion 4 is formed on the entry side of the low temperature fluid.
