Abstract:
To provide a heat exchanger capable of improving heat exchange efficiency.SOLUTION: A heat exchanger 1 comprises: a columnar honeycomb structure 10 having a plurality of cells 101 forming a first flow passage through which first fluid 2 passes; an inner cylinder 11 attached to an outer periphery of the honeycomb structure 10; and an outer cylinder 12 arranged on an outer periphery of the inner cylinder 11, and forming a second flow passage 124 through which second fluid 3 passes between itself and the inner cylinder 11. The second flow passage 124 comprises an intermediate flow passage 124a extending in an axial direction 10c of the honeycomb structure 10 so as to include an outer peripheral position of the honeycomb structure 10, and side flow passages 124b, 124c located at both sides of the intermediate flow passage 124a with respect to the axial direction 10c, where a height of the intermediate flow passage 124a is set lower than a height of the side flow passages 124b and 124c.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
