Abstract:
PURPOSE: To surely prevent the contamination of molten steel caused by a reaction between the air oxidation and a heat insulating agent and further, to provide the heat insulating agent without damage and erosion to a refractory.
CONSTITUTION: Ca is contained at 0.1-20% as the outer percentage in the heat insulating agent containing 0.5-1.0 CaO/Al2O3, 5-<30% MgO and ≤10% SiO2.
